The Chronicles of Rivet

"The Hero Within" tells the story of Rivet Youngstar, a 12-year-old boy from Nolanville who is transformed into a humanoid blue frog by an ancient curse. The curse grants him extraordinary agility and strength but comes at the cost of his human form and a life he once knew. While grappling with his transformation, Rivet becomes a protector of Nolanville, and a member of a secret society, battling mythical creatures and uncovering hidden truths about the town's history.

In the heart of the once-peaceful village of Nolanville, darkness stirs. An ancient evil—the Shadow King—has awakened, threatening to plunge the world into eternal night. Only one warrior stands in his way: Rivet, a young man with a forgotten past and a destiny he has yet to understand. Trained by the wise Elder Croft, Rivet has spent his life preparing for battle, but when the Shadow King’s influence begins to spread, doubt gnaws at him. Who is he, really? And why does he feel an unexplainable connection to the darkness?

After the fall of the Shadow King, Rivet wanders a broken world, searching for purpose in the aftermath of war. But whispers of an ancient power call to him, leading him to uncover fragments of his forgotten past. When strange creatures begin emerging—phantoms bearing the remnants of the Shadow King’s darkness—Rivet realizes the battle is far from over. Seeking answers, he stumbles upon a hidden village of survivors who believe the corruption still lingers. When spectral beasts attack, Rivet’s dormant abilities awaken, briefly restoring his form as the blue ninja frog.
