Once upon a time, in a far away long ago country that used to exist next door to France, was a small village with a mill for grinding wheat and grain. The miller’s business did well enough, for the people in the village loved to buy all manner of bread and rolls and pastry. The miller’s wife had given him three fine sons. As these things happen, one day the miller passed away, leaving his oldest sons the mill and his horse and cart.

A cat, smart and cunning, clever and mischievous but very helpful: he is just the sort of friend we'd all like by our sides. The youngest of three orphan brothers is left destitute after his parents' death. But such an apparently sad situation takes a quite unexpected turn for the better when he inherits what appears at first to be a small, quite ordinary cat. But it turns out to be the greatest inheritance of all! Our cat is not only clever and brave, but he is also a talking cat!

Puss in Boots is an anthropomorphic cat who helps his penniless master gain power, wealth, and the hand of a princess. Mr. Alestair Miller, the owner of Miller and Sons Auto Emporium, has died. His oldest son inherited his father’s auto shop. The middle son received his valuable collection of antique automobiles. And his youngest son, Hank, was given his father’s old motocross bike and gear and his pet cat, Gus.
