Joining us in the Audible Studios to discuss his latest novel, A Shout in the Ruins, is writer, poet and US Army veteran Kevin Powers. An Iraq war veteran, serving between 2004 and 2005, Kevin Powers is the author behind The Yellow Birds, which won the PEN/Hemingway Award and the Guardian First Book Award and was a National Book Award finalist. Following on from his debut poetry collection in 2014, Power’s latest published book is A Shout in the Ruins.
