I planned to spend the summer before my senior year suntanning on the beaches of Portugal. Unfortunately, my parents have other ideas -- they’ve sent me to work at the family hotel. In 2012, Summer’s family left everything in their American small town and bought a camper to explore Europe. At the age of 14, she wasn’t so keen on the idea and struggled with leaving everything she once knew. While trying to keep in contact with friends back home and living out of a suitcase, she realizes how much more there is to life than she had once believed. This is a story of self-discovery and world exploration for a family of four who have no idea what is in store for them.
