Rather than fixating on ROAS, they recommend measuring marketing efficiency ratio (MER), understanding customer acquisition cost, lifetime value and contribution margins, and using smart A/B tests, everything from subject lines and send times to ad creatives, to steadily improve performance.
As founders look to scale, Krista and Nicolette urge them to treat marketing like an investment: nail their legal framework, know their numbers, optimize every touchpoint from landing page to inbox, and be willing to fuel growth with strategic spend.
