• Skincare in 20s, 30s, 40s: Routine that works | E56
    Jul 10 2026

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by skincare, confused by what skincare products to buy, or pressured to use skincare to look younger, smoother, brighter, this episode is for you. We’re talking about skincare through 20s, 30s, and 40s! Skincare is a billion-dollar industry, and sometimes it feels like every day there’s a new skin brightening serum, a new skin glow trend, a new procedure to remove wrinkles, or a new reason to feel like your face needs new products.

So in this episode, we’re cutting through the noise. What actually works in skincare? What is just skincare marketing? What skincare routines are realistic? And what matters most when you have brown skin, pigmentation, sun damage, dryness, or aging skin?

And of course, we come at it very differently. Nidhi loves her longer skincare routine, toner, vitamin C, sunscreen, red light therapy, facials, all of it. For her, some of it is science, some of it is ritual, and some of it is pure joy.

And Neha is the simpler-routine sister. Sunscreen, moisturizer when needed, and keeping it realistic. Because you do not need a complicated routine to take care of your skin.

We’re also talking about the real skincare game-changers - sleep, workouts, food, hydration, stress, and learning that your skin is not your worth. So tune in to our next episode of Chocolate & Spice Talk, where we talk about skincare, brown skin, aging, routines, procedures, and self-worth - with honesty, curiosity, and a lot of sister real talk.Only on Chocolate & Spice Talk!🔔 Subscribe to ‪@chocolateandspicetalk‬ for more detailed conversations on life, growth, and unique perspectives.Connect with us on Instagram: @ChocolateAndSpiceTalkVisit our website: http://chocolateandspicetalk.com#skincare #skincareroutine #sunscreen #wellness #ChocolateAndSpiceTalkUntil next time—take care. • Get Well with Ayurveda: Ancient Indian System | E55
    Jul 3 2026

We’re talking about getting well from the inside with what we know of Ayurveda, one of the oldest Traditional System of Medicine. Ayurveda — ayur meaning life, veda meaning knowledge — is a few thousand years old. And the core idea is that health is balance. So instead of waiting until you are sick and then treating the disease, the system is built around food, daily routine, sleep, seasonal living, herbs, massage, breathing, meditation, and yoga — all designed to keep you in balance so you do not get sick in the first place. After we moved away from India, we forgot how much of Ayurveda was in us. It took distance — and a few “golden milk” menus and wellness trends — to realise, “Oh… this is just how we grew up. This is in our mornings, in our kitchens, in how we take care of ourselves.”Important caveat: Neither of us are trained in Ayurveda nor are we claiming to. We’re only going to walk through the little things we still do every day and talk about where they come from, what we now know about them, and how they’ve been quietly benefiting us for years.Only on Chocolate & Spice Talk!🔔 Subscribe to ‪@chocolateandspicetalk‬ for more detailed conversations on life, growth, and unique perspectives.Connect with us on Instagram: @ChocolateAndSpiceTalkVisit our website: http://chocolateandspicetalk.com#wellness #ayurveda #healthylifestyle #india #ChocolateAndSpiceTalkUntil next time—take care. • AI for Women: How Women Build AI | E54
    Jun 26 2026

AI is biased against women. You’v probably felt it but couldn’t put a finger on it. So today, we’re highlighting this topic. This is because AI is based on data and information that currently exists everywhere, and as we all know, a lot of current and historical data is biased against women. So automatically, AI is biased, for example, in how it assumes any tech conversations must be about men or all leaders must be men. Or of course, how AI generated images of women are as default sexualized and so on. And that is exactly why women cannot afford to sit this AI conversation out. Unless women are at the seat of the table and actively using and correcting it, the problems won’t get solved. In this bonus episode of our AI Series, we’re talking about what happens when AI carries the same bias the world already has — and why women need a seat at the algorithm.Because AI learns from the world we build — and that world has not always seen women as the default expert, leader, engineer, doctor, founder, or decision-maker. We need to change that. And this episode is not about fear. It is about power. Women are already using AI, questioning AI, correcting AI, building AI, and making it more human-centered. The question is not whether AI will shape the future. It will. The real question is: will women shape it? Only on Chocolate & Spice Talk, we’re talking about women, AI bias, and why using AI consciously is one of the most important skills women can build right now. So, not just using AI – shaping it.🔔 Subscribe to ‪@chocolateandspicetalk‬ for more detailed conversations on life, growth, and unique perspectives.Connect with us on Instagram: @ChocolateAndSpiceTalkVisit our website: http://chocolateandspicetalk.com#aitools #aiforwomen #aiexplained #ai #ChocolateAndSpiceTalkUntil next time—take care. • Bold Switch in 20s: From Investment Banking to Real Estate | E53
    Jun 19 2026

Have you ever wanted to make a bold career pivot, but felt scared to leave the stability of what you already know? We’re joined by Jewelz Do, who, in her late 20s, made a big career move from investment banking to real estate — leaving behind a stable, high-paying corporate path to build something of her own. Jewelz shares how her background in finance, investing, and real estate helped her move from long corporate hours and structured banking days into the unpredictable world of entrepreneurship, home buying, flipping houses, and helping clients build wealth. We also talk about the pressure many of us feel to follow a traditional path — school, stable job, corporate ladder — especially coming from immigrant and Asian family backgrounds. And we explore what it takes to step outside that comfort zone with a plan, patience, and courage. You can connect with Jewelz Do on her IG @jewelzdo_realestate🔔 Subscribe to ‪@chocolateandspicetalk‬ for more detailed conversations on life, growth, and unique perspectives.Connect with us on Instagram: @ChocolateAndSpiceTalkVisit our website: http://chocolateandspicetalk.com#careerchange #realestate #genz #richdadpoordad #womeninrealestate #ChocolateAndSpiceTalkUntil next time—take care. • Is Obsession with Looks Holding us Back? | E52
    Jun 12 2026

Have you ever spent time getting ready — makeup, hair, outfit — and then felt a mix of pride and irritation because you know that effort changes how people treat you… and you’re not sure how you feel about that? How much grooming is us wanting to do for the joy of it and how much is it because society, social media, and marketing make us so fearful that we do it? Does putting a lot of effort into make up or clothes and nails actually build self confidence or is that a marketing trope sold to women to encourage consumerism? In this episode of Chocolate and Spice Talk, we’re talking about the quiet cost — and the real power — of how women show up. From the “grooming gap” and pink tax, to how childhood shaped our own grooming standards. We’ll share when grooming has felt like joy, when it’s felt like tax, and how we each draw the line between self‑care, strategy, and pressure. And we’ll ask the question we want you to sit with too: if you stopped dressing for what the room expects and started dressing for how you want to feel, what would actually change? 🔔 Subscribe to ‪@chocolateandspicetalk‬ for more honest conversations on life, growth, and unique perspectives. 📌 TIMESTAMPS0:00 - Nidhi spends how many hours?01:20 - Appearance as a Cultural Pressure03:20 - It's all Consumerism10:00 - Homogeneity in Corporate12:00 - Childhood impact on Getting Dressed15:00 - How much Time Spent is Right18:50 - Changing the Narrative22:20 - Why for Women Well-groomed Differs from Men31:30 - Women get Pressured with Expectations on Looks💬 JOIN THE CONVERSATIONWhat is one thing you have actively stopped apologizing for or unlearned as you’ve questioned it? • Changing Career: From Tech Job to Films & Theatre | E50
    May 29 2026

Switching careers in mid-life is hard. Leaving a successful tech career to move to films and theater is harder. Listen to a technology leader who left the tech world in Silicon Valley at her peak and get tips on career goals and what success means. Learn how she switched career to move into the art world — films, writing, directing, creating, and bringing stories to theater.

Our speaker is Purnima Varma, who left her career in hi-tech to follow her passion in the arts. What we love about Purnima’s story is that it’s not just about switching career or leaving a regular 9 to 5 job. It’s about reinvention. It’s about listening to that creative pull, trying something new, dealing with self-doubt, and not worrying about how society expects a typical 9 to 5 job.

  • How to use AI: For Parents & At Work | E49
    May 15 2026

We bring a unique lens on AI as techies with 35+ years between us, as moms of kids who use AI, and as our work evolves with AI. We'll bring the practical lens — the techno-optimist lens. We use AI every day. We're building products in a world where everyone is asking how to become AI-native. We're experimenting at home. We're raising kids who are growing up in a world where AI is just normal. We're talking about how AI is changing daily life—work, school, parenting, creativity, relationships—and how we prepare ourselves and the next generation without panicking, and without pretending nothing is changing. And we should say this upfront: we are not pretending to have all the answers. Nobody does.

We are two sisters, both engineers, both MBAs, we’ve seen technology waves come and go. And this one feels different. So we're also bringing the philosophical lens. What happens when machines can write, create, analyze, summarize, and even sound emotionally intelligent? What stays uniquely human? And how do we use AI without slowly outsourcing our own thinking?

This video covers: AI, learning AI, AI for parents, AI for work, Generative AI, ChatGPT, how to use AI, AI for good, AI for kids
