  • Why we started 'Behind The Posts'
    Jan 27 2026

We’re Liam and Tess. Business partners, life partners, and parents. We run The Hussell Family and Hussell Up Marketing.

On this podcast, we’ll take you through our journey and, along the way, hopefully teach you a thing or two about social media and marketing.

So why did we decide to start a podcast, or even the agency in the first place?

Every day, we see polished feeds, perfect launches, and overnight “success” stories. What you don’t see is the messy thinking, the wrong turns, the awkward conversations, and the things that actually happen behind the content.

This podcast exists to talk about that part.

In this first episode, we explain why we started Behind The Posts, what pushed us to hit record, and what we felt was missing from the marketing and business conversations online.

We talk about running a growing agency, learning in public, making calls that don’t always work, and why showing the process matters just as much as showing the result.

If you run a business, work in marketing, or you’re trying to build something without pretending you’ve got it all figured out, this podcast is for you.

    Welcome to Behind The Posts.
