    May 31 2026

In this episode, I sit down again with one of my closest friends—this time to talk about what came next. Getting clean. The early years. The parts no one really prepares you for.

This is Part Two: This is the good part; the shift out of chaos and into recovery. We talk about what it actually looked like in those first few years, how our paths didn’t line up, and how those differences shaped who we are today.

  • Letting Go And Letting God
    May 13 2026

This episode exists because faith stepped in before doubt took over.

In a moment of dysregulation, discouragement, and deep self‑questioning, the urge to throw this podcast away felt real. What stopped it wasn’t motivation, momentum, or certainty—but faith in God.

This episode reflects on recovery beyond staying clean, the role of nervous system regulation, and the surrender required when control stops working. It’s an honest look at why faith isn’t an add‑on to healing, but the reason this space—and this voice—continues to exist.

  • I’m Not Making Excuses. I’m Learning.
    May 12 2026

    This is a clarification episode.

I’m not blaming the nervous system. I’m not minimizing accountability. And I’m not claiming to have answers. What I am doing is learning—about dysregulation, about addiction swapping, and about why being clean doesn’t always bring peace.

This podcast is part of my healing process, and this episode explains where I’m coming from. It’s about understanding the damage, taking responsibility for it, and becoming intentional about repairing what we’ve broken—without pretending willpower alone is enough.

The next episodes will focus on regulation and what healing can actually look like after addiction.

  • Dysregulation Is Chemical: Regulation is Intentional
    May 11 2026

This episode dives into the reason why the decision to stop is so hard, even when we know better. Our nervous system fights us every step of the way.

It doesn't mean we're diseased. It doesn't mean we can't stop. It just makes it hard because our brain is literally working against us.

It shows up in different ways for each substance. The common struggle is our chemistry. If we can understand what it is, we might not be so afraid.

After we stop, the damage shows up in so many ways. We can regulate with intention and information.

  • Boundaries (Part 5): Get Used To The Uncomfy
    May 9 2026

Boundary setting is meant to be scary, uncomfortable, and challenging. Anything worth doing in healing will not feel natural, AT FIRST. Just know that with growth, comes a little bit of pain... but in the best way.

This episode concludes the series on boundaries and what they mean to us post recovery. It's the first step towards really, truly getting to know ourselves and proving that we have the power to override our patterns.

I hope that this series has helped you in some way, even just a little. I also encourage you to share it with others who might benefit from these little pep talks.

  • Boundaries (Part 4): Healing Begins With Small Wins
    May 8 2026

In recovery, we’re often told to “set boundaries,” but no one talks about where to start—or why starting too big can actually set us up to fail.

In this episode, we break down why rebuilding self‑worth after addiction has to begin with small, low‑stakes wins. Not dramatic confrontations. Not power moves. But simple, doable choices that prove to your nervous system that you can protect yourself and survive the discomfort.
