Not important to the over all series

Story was ok but it really has nothing to do with the over all series. If you don't listen to it your not missing anything

Short and sweet

Any additional comments?

This is a fun short story, but be aware that it is an extract from one of the other books, not a new story.
Also be aware that while some of these 'shorts' are an hour or more long, others are rather less than that.
Very enjoyable listen anyway!

I loved it!

I loved it!

This was such a surprise. I found these books and thought they were just more stories about Jane in New Orleans. I had no idea what a treasure trove I had found and what I was in for. I was so happy at the end of my first book to find that these were stories of Jane’s history and how some of her backstories played out that are just referenced throughout the series. I also enjoyed hearing the stories from Molly’s perspective. It was money and time well spent.

How a cougar takes care of lumber baron

Would you consider the audio edition of WeSa and the Lumber King to be better than the print version?

I have not read the print version of this book.

What other book might you compare WeSa and the Lumber King to and why?

This is a very short story and not even a novellas. It compares with a chapter from Ann McCaffrey' Pettabee series. You see things from the animal/human point of view.

Which scene was your favorite?

When they were leaving after killing the lumber king and they look back to see the humans have set fire to the woods.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Jane told Beast she could not eat the man and Beast listened to her.

Any additional comments?

Good to listen to to something of the flavor of their relationship.

chronological intro

When you go back and read this series in order, you get a good foundation for the interaction between WeSa (Jane) and the "other."

Should be free

Curiosity got this cat but it's not really worth purchasing ... Has no real relevance to the Jane Yellowrock story.

Is This really short story?

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

the Narrative it sucks

What didn’t you like about Khristine Hvam’s performance?

oh she did a good job making the characters sound child like intelligence or animal like intelligence. that is what made the story suck bad book aka script.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

I want my 69 cents back ya didn't pay much but I think they really should pay me.
