Being a fan of the death before dragons series I was excited to find out about the series. And I'm happy that this book doesn't disappoint. Matti is a great character and I'm looking forward to where her story goes. It was also great to see Val from an outside perspective during her moments. I can't wait for the other audiobooks to be released.

the author tends to have a similar group of characters, however this one feels different, funny, snarky im hooked and iv read nearly all of the authors books
