Summary

Action, angst, steam, sexy dominant ex navy Seals!
Another intriguing story in this series, packed with angst, emotion, action, tension and some passionate steamy bdsm scenes. Oh and Carter makes a few appearances too *sighs* This time it was Ben (Boomer) and his childhood friend/sweetheart Kat who he thought was lost to him years before.
The male narrator was good and easy to listen to.
I'm really enjoying this series. I love the angst and action, the steam, the dominant but caring and protective nature of the men and the rapport between all the Trident Security team and their allies.
Am looking forward to reading more!

a second chance like no other
Imagine finding out that your first love is no longer dead! That is exactly what happens to Ben. He never really got over the loss of his first love Kat. Then one day, Kat walks back into his life seeking help. That is only the beginning of the drama filled story. The third installment in this series, and it is different from all the others. Ben gets a second chance with his first love, one that he never thought could happen. Watching as Ben tried to accept what happened and resolve his own internal struggles with it is what makes this story so addicting. I could not put it down. This one really tugged at my heart. It left me wanting more.
Donovan Kane once again, delivers a perfect narration of the Trident boys. He brings out the alpha in them all, but with Ben, Kane is able to bring out his hurt. Kane narrates Ben to pull at heartstrings and bring out all the feels. I really enjoyed this narration and cannot wait for the next book.

love a good second chance
I enjoyed this one. Great suspense and story flowed through the entire book.
While Donovan Kane is good for male voice, sometimes his female voice makes the female sound weak.

Ben and Kat
Another great story in the Trident Security series. I had never heard of Samantha A. Cole before but she is now going on my Favorite Authors list. This book has the perfect mix of romance and suspense. I love Ben and Kat and the chemistry they have together. Donovan Kane did a great job bringing this story to life. I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Waiting for Him
Another great story in this series. I absolutely loved the beginning of this book when these two reunite and loved listening to their chemistry spark back to life. This whole crew is so much fun to listen to.

Another winner
This, the third in the Trident Security series is the story of Boomer and Kat.
As a Dom and a member of the Club, Boomer introduces Kat into the lifestyle. Of course Trident Security also need to save her from a faceless predator.
Lovely to still hear from already known characters.

This story was a good quick listen, enjoyable continuation if the trident security series. it's a stand alone although characters from earlier books wander in and out, if you haven't read them you won't be lost. the narration was well done.

When your love comes back from the dead...
Ben is waiting to meet a new client for Trident Security...and faints when he does! 12yrs ago Katerina & her family, including her brother & Ben’s bff, were killed in a car accident. Imagine Ben’s surprise when he walks in to the conference room and sees Kat standing there! Turns out that Kat & her dad were in the WITSEC program until recently, when her dad died and bad guys tried to kidnap Kat. Now she needs Ben & Trident guys to protect her and find out why these ppl are after her. In the midst if this, Ben & Kat get reacquainted and Ben introduces her to his BDSM lifestyle. While I enjoyed the book, it seemed as if ‘the lifestyle’ was the main story and keeping Kat save was the subplot. I’m no prude but it seemed as if the BDSM plot took up a good 60% of the book and catching the bad guys was an afterthought and rushed towards the end of the book. Could have been a 5-star read otherwise

I LOVE BOOMER & KAT
WAITING FOR HIM is the third book in the Trident Security series. Each will stand-alone, but it is still best to read in order for the overall character developments.
I have given my heart to the Sexy Six Pack, but Boomer’s reaction to seeing Kat for the first time in twelve years is absolutely swoon-worthy. (Okay, that’s my pun for the day, but you won’t know it until you also read the book.) All puns aside, it did make me sigh once I realized why. In fact, their love is one big sigh-fest!
This series just keeps getting better and better. I will always want to read more about this amazing group of Doms/subs and their friends. Unfortunately, now I have to WAIT for the next book and that makes me sad. Samantha Cole is now listed in my top 10 go-to authors when I need something to read. I'll be waiting for her, just as Kat was waiting for Ben...
Narration: Donovan Kane is the voice of the Trident Security team. It is everything decadent and sinful. There are a few mispronunciations, but forgiven for the timbre and deliciousness that is whispered in my ear.

What did I like about the story? good pace, well developed characters and a complex story.
Boomer lost the love of his life at age 18 and now she's back from the dead. The Russian mob are after Kat and its up to the Trident Team keep her alive and figure out who is after her.
While the action ensues, Ben and Kat's relationship develops, he introduces her to his BDSM lifestyle, and while the main story is keeping Kat alive, it felt like a significant portion of the story was about 'the lifestyle' and not keeping Kat safe so when it came to catching the bad guys it felt a little rushed.
Narrator comment: I enjoyed Donovan Kane's narration and think he's done a good job narrating Waiting for Him. He has a nice voice, good inflections and I had no problem distinguishing characters or feeling the emotions of the story.

Loved the back from the dead angle
Ben and Kay has just begun to truly connect when she is taken into witness protection and Ben believes she is dead. Now she is back and needs Ben to protect her. I really liked Ben and Kat they were both well thought out characters. Overall a great listen as it had enough romance and suspense to keep me interested.

Fantastic!!!
I absolutely loved Benny and Kat's story. The chemistry between the characters comes shining through from they see each other again. Well... once Boomer wakes up that is. lol Great story. Non stop action, never a boring moment. Even the narration was on point. If I had to find fault with it at all, it would be that the bad guys were taken care off too easily. Overall, it was a fantastic story.
