This is Marco's story. He has a heart tugging story to tell. I enjoyed finding out all about who Marco is. When Harper finally reaches Marco, the sparks do fly. This is in a way a second chance romance. A second chance for Marco and Harper, and for Marco to actually love. The chemistry between Harper and Marco is hot, but Marco's struggles really kept me engrossed in the story. This is one not to miss.

Donovan Kane is amazing in this series. I love the consistency of his narration through out the series. Donovan has really connected with each character and brings their story to life, one by one. I look forward to the rest of the series and more of Donovan's narrations.

I do love an action packed second chance romance. These characters keep getting better with each book. Samantha has written a brilliant series here. Great narration from Donovan.

Brilliant narration from Donovan Kane

Marco is a player and the thought of settling down is not on his radar. His past has caused him to believe that is not in his future. When he is called to crime scene he is shocked that he knows the woman Harper, a woman that he had played with in the BDSM club and the baby that has been kidnapped may be his. Harper is violently attacked and her baby is taken she is surprised when the man who has been in her heart walks in Marco. Oh the drama, Marco has such that he needs to work through. Harper is an amazing woman whose in strength helps Mr Alpha release what is in front of him. Drama, angst, secrets, spice all the way and yes romance.
