Summary

Mia knows stress. She’s dealt with it her whole life. So when she gets an opportunity to run a psychology study to help her get into grad school, it should be no problem dealing with the prickly guy she suddenly finds herself paired with.

The one she had a secret crush on last year. The one who refuses to let anyone close. The one she’s discovering by the day may have a softer side than he lets anyone else see...

Tyler knows stress. He’s grappled with it for as long as he can remember. And just because he has to share credit with this girl on his new psychology study doesn’t mean he has to be friends with her. Except she somehow keeps worming her way into his life. In school. In the boxing gym.

In his bed.

But everyone knows it’s safer to keep to yourself. You can’t hurt anyone that way. Even if it means giving up the best thing that’s ever happened to him.

As things heat up in the Stress Lab, will this match be able to work together without disruption, or will this growing attraction between them eventually...combust?

Under Pressure is a full-length new adult contemporary romance and can be listened to as a stand-alone. Book number one in the Lessons Learned series, Educated Romance World, Penny Reid Book Universe.

Chapter 19 has been fixed!

*Update* Chapter 19 has been fixed. Really really enjoyed this book. I’m a huge Jacob Morgan/Zachary Webber fan so that is what brought me to this book. There was so much character growth. Narrators were amazing and I am looking forward to more books by Allie Winters.

wrong chapter

I loved this story and narrators. However, chapter 19 was the wrong book. It had the wrong characters, wrong narrator, etc. Also later in the book events were discussed that never happened. I can only assume they were in the "missing" chapter(s). Very frustrating.

hmm

Fiona Fischer would be better suited for children's books, she doesn't get into character her narration is really rigid like she's presenting a PowerPoint not a romance novel. it was distracting when I was trying to get into the story but Jacob Morgan was awesome as usual. I wish Fischer was more emotive.

Just meh

Story seem to drag on and on…It just was so boring that I had a hard time moving forward. . Maybe it was the mood I was in.. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Audiobook review: Always a pleasure to listen to Jacob Morgan and Fiona Fischer
