RAPTOR RAPTURE

In a world when so many books deliver less than the cover sales spin, this one delivers as a light to medium work that won't tax your brain to follow the story.

It's not 'better than Crichton' as claimed but nevertheless a worthy story with rich, credible characters and good pace that will keep you interested all the way through.

This book probably suffers from being listed in the Sci-Fi section as it would have much wider appeal as general fiction.

Great thriller well told

Anything by Preston is usually worth reading or listening to. Very well researched and informative. Narration is clear and easy on the ear. Bravo Douglas!!!

Great listen, but

Awesome story and well performed, for the most part, but the English accents really aren't very good. Not everyone in England sounds like they are part of Downton Abbey. That being the one gripe I'd still highly recommend listening.

Great fun, well worth a listen.

Good characters, well constructed plot and plenty of tension. Well deserving of your attention, passed a couple of rainy days perfectly.

One tiny niggle: there are a couple of English/Anglophile characters who just don't ring true. The son of an English lord using the expression "gobshite"? Marmalade with afternoon tea? Please...

Great story!

In printed terms, I'd consider this a 'page turner'. Thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish and am looking at further novels by this author.

Great story

Compelling and fast pasted story with good characters. Unusual premise but is still an action packed adventure.
