Love this series

Absolutely love Cora and her mafia books and this story doesn’t disappoint!!
Ive read every single one of her writings but had to buy the audio format the second i saw it had released.

I listen to many audio books but this narrator isn’t a favourite of mine. I suppose we all have in our mind how they will sound and this narrator just doesn’t suit, in my opinion.
Im happy i read the books prior to listening to the audio, because it would of definitely changed my view on it all.
I carried on to the end though, because regardless, i frickin’ love this book.

Hopefully we can have a male narrator take on the male characters, for the next one.

How a narrator can ruin a awesome story

The narrator is awful there was zero difference between the 2 female and male characters at some point I thought it was a Siri like voice telling the story . Zero emotion zero pause it is truly bad so bad made me want to stop ans just read the story my self . Really really poor quality narrator like how you allowed that audible ???

A great read.

Fabiano, the intense enforcer for the Camorra, and the world weary Leona are are brought together in this fantastic, gritty, and exciting Mafia read.
Twisted Loyalties is the first book in The Camorra Chronicles and I loved it.

The Narrator....

This Narrator is pathetic! She sounds like she is reading a poem I trying to sing a song. She ruined the rest of this series for me.

Fabi!!!

I read this story already but was so excited to actually listen to the audio book version!! Loved this story!! Fabiano and Leona are such amazing characters! The odds were definitely against them. It was interesting seeing everything play out the way it did. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I’m exited to see if Twisted emotions will come out on audible!

New generation Cora please the story going!!!!!!!’

I loved the Bound By Love, Honor, Duty, Hate, Vengeance, Temptation, but it’s missing a book on audible in that series at the very end no less, bound by Blood is missing, grrrrr! Ok I like the book so far but switched to something else because audible doesn’t have book two but they do have the rest of this series. Once again authors and audible, narrator, narrator, narrator. The narrator for this book her voice is too sweet for a mob enforcer that is, what, 20 or so. Vanessa Edwin would have been a much better choice. She does accents and her voice is more deeper and mature to switch to male and still light enough for the female voices. I haven’t finished this book but I fell in love with the afore mentioned series so I’m gonna give the youngsters a try, but I hope their voices don’t continue to sound like 10 year olds. Hard to believe they are such bad asses with that high, sweet voice.

male narrator needed

I love coras books but this is the first one I was left disappointed. I found it hard to see the chemistry. it also needed a male narrator, she sounded too robotic.

Good - not great

This book is not as good as the ones from the Born in Blood series. While I respect the talents of the narrator, this one made what could have been a descent story boring and hard to follow. It was hard to tell which character was speaking because the voices were too similar. Fabiano is the youngest and finally his story is told. Sadly, because his voice was played by a female, all I could imagine was a teenage boy, which made it kinda gross for me. The writing is this book is by far no where as good as other books. I don’t want to be but I have very disappointed with this storyline. I am mostly disappointed with the performance. Sorry, Nicole Blessing, I respect the talent but you missed the mark in making this engaging and developing the characters.
