I was listening to this and the story seemed very familiar to me. I looked at my kindle app and lo and behold I read the book some years ago! I stopped seriously reading since I had my 3 young children so audible has been a Godsend! Very delighted to have revisited this story. The narrators were absolutely AMAZING! I didn’t realise that Emma was so versatile. 5 stars all round. I will be re listening in the future.

I had read The Italian some years ago, but it was really refreshing listening to the audio. The story all came flooding back.

Performance wise, I thought Emma and Dane were fantastic. They did really well with the accents of our Australian and Italian MC’s. This definitely worked better as a duet narration.

The story did drag in places, but overall I’m glad I had the opportunity to listen/read again.

My very first audio and was just so incredible I absolutely loved every second of it . Definitely going to get another one just brilliant. Now which one will it be.

Narrators weee amazing. I really enjoyed the first half of the book. Thought the second half dragged and I only had it on as background noise, can’t really tell you what happened and I finished it ten minutes ago. Definitely did not grip me and I found the lead males background a bit of a far fetch. Do the Italian police not do a background check before they recruit. Well written nonsense.
