The Survivor

I would recommend reading or listening to The Traveler first before you get to this one. It gives you a better understanding of what is going on. I listened to this one before the book one and I found it confusing at times.
This was a quick listen and different since it was told from the secondary characters pov.

The Survivor

A perfect bridge book between the first book and hopefully the second. This book follows some of the secondary characters from the first book and what happens when most of the invaders return home. I loved they way this series is turning out.

A perfect bridging story between books 1 and 2

Crisp and compact, this short story has all the action and romance of the rest of the series, even while it explores secondary characters from Book 1 in greater depth. Excellent narration as ever. This is well worth the listen, and a must if you've already listened to The Traveler.

Great second book!

I definitely enjoyed listening to this book. However a little short but still fantastic.
The narrator does a good job with the characters and voices making it easy to distinguish between the characters.

Brilliant continuation of the story

I have listened to book one of this series, and this one follows on very nicely from that. It is a nice short story, which adds a lot to the series and I really enjoyed it

A fabulous treat for fans of the series

This short story is a fabulous treat for anyone who felt like me a little bereft at the end of The Traveler and desperately wanted to learn more about the unique world and the colourful characters Melissa Delport has created for this series.
The narration by Leah Sponburgh was spot on and I can’t wait for the second volume, The Saviour, to come out on audio - great fun!

Ooh, she's done it again!

The Traveler left us begging for more, so it was with the glee of a child on Christmas morning that I started The Survivor. Once again narrated by the excellent Leah Sponburgh, it was very interesting to hear about the war from a different point of view. We had met Darren in The Traveler and his account of their time together since the departure of Rachel and Dex was action packed and full of emotion. And yet, once again, Ms Delport has left me grinding my teeth in my desperation to know more. It's quite remarkable how so much intrigue was packed into an hour of audio book, yet from the first word to the last my attention was captured and I was fully invested in the characters, new and old. Bravo Ms Delport, but I can't wait much longer for the next instalment so please can you sort it, like now? If I promise I'll be good? Please?

Still Great

Short story addition to the Traveler Series. Well worth the read. It offers insight into the events between books one and two of the series. Definitely had me wanting to read the third as soon as I finished (which I'm already doing). On to the next!!

I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review from the author/publisher/narrator.

Bridge story in the series

Quick bridge story in the series that covers what is happening on earth after Dex left. I won't spoil it, but it looks like the Aliens aren't playing nice.

Great narration for this very quick bridge story.

Survivors Unite!

This story continues with the group of survivors, fighting the aliens ,that were left behind by their leader. The group is trying to find any remaining people to join them in the fight, along with the military. The military needs learn their firsthand knowledge about the aliens. . More fighting, mistrust and another spaceship lands. But who is in it?! a short story, that fills in the gap on the situation on Earth. Good intriguing story. Leah Sponburgh narration is excellent. I was gifted this audiobook in exchange for my honest review!

Good

Good and very short. I like the fact the story continues with the friends that were left behind to know what they are facing. Leaves on a cliffhanger.

Continuing On...

This is a really short interim story between Books 1 and 2 in The Traveler Series. As I was totally caught up in this story, this audio book was a must-listen to find out what was happening on earth after Rachel and Dex left Earth and Rachel’s friends behind. The ending ends with a major cliffhanger that will compel you to need to listen to the next book. I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.

Good read

The Survivor - A Traveler short story, my sixth read/listen from author Melissa Delport (Lissa Del) & kind of the second book in the Traveler series, bridging the gap between books 1 & 2. I don't restrict my reading to any particular genre. Instead, I'm a sucker for anything with memorable characters & a story that keeps me on the edge of my seat until the end. Narrator Leah Sponburgh’s narration again adds greatly to the story’s enjoyment. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. I’ll be reading more from this author & look forward to the rest of the series! (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
