Summary
Mona Lisa St. James made a deathbed promise that she would do anything to save her mother's art gallery. Unfortunately, not only is The Red painted red, but it's in the red.
Just as she realizes she has no choice but to sell it, a mysterious man comes in after closing time and makes her an offer: He will save The Red if she agrees to submit to him for the period of one year.
The man is handsome, English, and terribly tempting - but surely her mother didn't mean for Mona to sell herself to a stranger. Then again, she did promise to do anything to save The Red....

Unexpected
This book was really unexpected. Really spicy. Crazy spicy. I didn’t see the ending coming. Still can’t figure out how everything was possible lol. But it was a crazy ride

Devilishly:)
It was definitely different & very interesting... I really liked that to understand the story better, I had to Google most of the paintings... that's what set it apart for me!
I mostly did enjoy it, with the exception of the nymphs bit... which did nothing for me whatsoever & it felt a bit ridiculous.
Also, I can't say that I loved the ending & that's why it gets 4 stars from me... I'd mostly guessed where it was going, but the conclusion did feel a bit abrupt & unsatisfying!
All in all, a love story it was not...

Strange and compulsive listening
At first I couldn't get in the book thinking it was going nowhere slowly but OMG I love it.
The imagination of the author is brilliant. It's 05.20am and I've just finished it having been awake listening.

This was a great read, well written and narrated. A story of need which forces Mona downs road she may not otherwise have taken.

Rushed Ending
The story was really good until the end where I felt it just became rushed and lost it a few points for me.
I'll still be listening to book 2 because she'd a great author, just hope the story somehow continues.

Unusual
Really enjoyed this book as it was unusual to others and this is what I like two many books are the same Mona was a brave girl after losing her Mother and I commend her for what she did
