Understanding polyvagal theory is mind blowing! But it's more than a theory of you actually out in the work and see the results for yourself. Being able to understand how the vagus nerve has such a strong hold over our entire health is a must for anyone. I've suffered from trauma and alcoholism for most of my young adult life and this book has been really useful as a stress and trauma solution for when time gets tough. Exercises are great and I've healed since using this audiobook. Highly Recommended
