Summary

It is said that the pen is mightier than the sword, but what if the holder of the pen loses everything and in retaliation takes up his sword against the people who have wronged him?

One day, the FBI is attacked and two of its agents are killed. Soon after, the FBI headquarters is rocked by an explosion coming from a secret room deep inside the bowels of the building. This place is only known to a few as the time room.

As information is gathered regarding these incidents, the director of the FBI calls in those who have reason to know about the time room, and soon the evidence leads to a rogue time traveler and author.

But what can be done without a time machine to hunt this man? They need help, and one of the FBI agents is holding on to a secret that could assist them: Brian Partridge is alive.

Again great humour and teamwork and narration was great.

Brilliant!

Another 5 star review for this superb second book in the Time Travelling Tourist series by Nick James. Following on from book 1 with a few additional characters this story keeps you in suspense from page 1. A few laughs along the way with a couple of FBI agents possibly recruited from the keystone cops all help to make this a brilliant listen. The story has more twists than a corkscrew with and unexpectedly large one at the end. Can't wait for book 3 to see what happens to Brian and Nada next. Narration as usual was brilliant from a multi voiced Gordon R. Smith.
I was given a copy of this book by the author and leave this honest review voluntarily.
