So much fun!
How much fun is this? I love everything about this book. Single minded, ambitious and not cut out to be a guardian, Rowan finds himself in a predicament. He needs help with his niece and is using the Nanny Match Agency to find qualified help. Penny is an author with writer's block. Unable to hold a job, she is approached by the agency for qualities she has shown in her work. Paid more and board included, she takes the job for the adorable Phoebe. Taking this job will give her the time she needs to hopefully unblock her mind and begin writing again. And our story starts. Rowan is the handsome, well built nerd, focused on his next video game but sees something in Penny that he realizes he yearns for. Penny finds her calling as she helps hone the story of the new game, and begins falling for not only the wonderful child, but her guardian too! Will it be a match? Fun, fun fun! Krista Sandor packs all the good qualities of a romance into this story as we fall in love with the nerd and the nanny. But the true star for me is Phoebe! She is the best at comic relief at the most tense time! I love this and look forward to the next match!
Monica King brings this story all to life. She has a vast array of voices, finding the best for each character. From Penny to Rowan, she nails the female and male counterparts and then flips to a small child and brings the innocence of Phoebe in. Add in a few accents, and amazing secondary character voices and the story is a blast to listen to! She captivated me and kept me smiling through the entire performance.

Single Parent... Yes Please
I read this one a while back, and i loved Penny and Rowan. I completely forgot how Rowan was so robotic. And in this audio it comes through very well. I wish though it had a male narrator. I think would have been perfect. But Monica King did a good job. Phoebe was just too adorable for words loved her.
A writer who's suffering from writers block becomes a nanny. A workaholic and is strict in every aspect of his life needs a nanny. Can these two help each other out...

Rowen and Penny!
Although he owns a successful gaming company, Rowen has always had difficulty to relating to other people. After the tragic death of his brother, he is floundering when he becomes the guardian for his six-year-old niece Phoebe. When Penny is hired as her nanny, he isn’t sure what to make of her as they are opposites in every way.
Penny finds herself struggling financially as she tries to follow her dreams. When she is offered the nanny position with a two-month probation it is the answer to all her problems. The one thing she hadn’t expected was to be attracted to her sexy boss.
Penny is vibrant and outgoing while Rowen appears reclusive and detached but they find the perfect balance in each other and together are exactly what Paige needs. Neither of their pasts have been easy but these two very different people find the acceptance and love they both deserve in each other. I thought the narrator did a wonderful job of bringing the story and the characters to life.

Fun and charming 💜

The writing drew me in - kind of silly at times, but a totally charming story. Loved the characters - Penny, Rowen & Phoebe were all so much fun. Penny and Rowen are both adorably awkward with aspects of life, but their attraction to each other feels real. Loved the side characters too and looking forward to seeing more of them in the rest of the series.

nanny
Great chemistry between Penny and Rowen. Rowen has always focused on his gaming company, until his six year old niece is placed in his care. His hires a nanny so he can continue to focus on work. Until he meets the nanny. Penny is struggling with trying to write, she needs to find a job and falls into being a nanny for Rowan’s niece. She brings love and structure his niece so desperately needs.
