Summary
Charlotte Ames despises hotheads. You know the type. It's the growly, perma-scowling bully who blows his top at the slightest inconvenience. And her former boss, Top Chef Mitch Elliott, is the king of all hotheads.
How big of a jerk is he? Big enough to make her hurl a salad at the guy.
Those vegetables didn’t ask to be strewn across the floor. But Mitch deserved it!
Is he devastatingly handsome when he loses his cool? Could his stormy blue eyes, flashing with passion, melt the panties right off a gal? That would be a yes. Still, she can’t stand him. And she’d thought she’d seen the last of the culinary creep.
She was wrong.
On the cusp of eviction and with five bucks to her name, she needs a job.
Enter the exclusive Nanny Match Agency and an opportunity to make some real cash.
Sounds great, right? Wrong again!
The universe has one messed-up sense of humor. When she wakes up after a margarita bender and learns she’s become the hothead’s nanny, life goes topsy-turvy! But when the nanny dust settles, she sees another side of the man. A man who might be more than a hothead. A man who gazes at her with such intensity, she can barely keep from combusting.
Don’t fall for the hotheaded chef.
Her head knows what to do. If only she could convince her heart.
Could this nanny match be the match that changes everything, or will it get too hot in the kitchen for the nanny and the hothead?

Despite being book 2 in the Nanny Love Match series, this book is standalone. I just think it is best enjoyed as a part of the series as the main characters of each book appear in the the other books as well. Plus there are mentioned of events, etc from the previous books.
Overall, this is a light, funny and romantic read!
This audiobook was given to me at my request and I voluntarily provided this review.

🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Monica King delivers another fabulous performance of bringing these characters and story to life. She has a complete understanding of the characters she is portraying, gives each a voice that suits that character and is believable in every role she plays. Her take on Charlotte was spot-on, grasping every side of her personality, from her wit to her vulnerabilities to her determination and to her caring side. She did the same for Mitch, grasping his angst, his intensity, broodiness and his hotheaded attitude, as well as his own vulnerabilities. She was just as fabulous covering the roles of the secondary characters too, and her children's voices were amazing. King handles the witty dialogue with ease, and lands the humor effortlessly. You could hear how much heart she put into her work as she captures all the character’s emotions and has you feeling every single one. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen.
A Delightful Gem of a Story! Awesome🎧📚🎧

Charlotte lost her job at a restaurant when she throw a salad at her boss. Needing a job she is approached by Madelyn to become a nanny. Let’s say a one margarita to many one night at a bar, Charlotte wakes up and finds that she has agreed to become her ex boss Mitch’s nanny. His son Oscar is cute but oh the dad is one hothead and has a slight temper,
Mitch knows he must stop being a hothead , because he was hurt in the past. Charlotte seems to making a difference to him.
Humour, chemistry and some angst.
