Oh My! ☺️

Well I never! This book is not to read or listened to in polite company!
It is so wonderfully risqué!
The boldness of the Independent Woman of that era is mind-blowing, and rightly so too!
A Thoroughly enjoyable listen!
A 5 ⭐️ Listen! 💕

Very entertaining.

This is a fun, quite light-hearted book. Estela, who had been married a few times before was now a wealthy widow. She was very determined and didn’t hold back when she wanted something or someone! Theo, Duke of Pembridge, had a problem that Estela is more than willing to help with. This is a steamy read but it will make you smile. I loved the two elderly Scottish ladies, who were very fond of Estela. It does have a happy ending.
The narrator, Gareth, had an easy voice to listen to. He changed his accent and tone for the different characters, thus, bringing the story to life. I did like the sound effects as well.
I received a copy and have voluntarily reviewed it. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is delightfully humorous romance.

This story had some great excitement and quite a few unexpected moments. Estella is such an independent widow that when she meets Theo it takes some time for her to embrace her attraction and feelings. Theo is surprisingly tender, a large teddy bear truly. He is guided by honour above all. Stella’s godmothers provide delightful comedy, the cannoli’s just about broke me. We should all have relatives such as this. This was an entertaining listen that reads like a vintage bodice ripper.
What truly sets this audiobook apart is the cinematic sound effects and music, it truly sets the tone. Narrator Gareth Davies reads in such a smooth and pleasing nature that you find yourself curled into the story like a cozy blanket.

Theo and Stella

This is a delightful story that takes place on a Mediterranean cruise it's fun and at times had me laughing out loud but it's also steamy so if you are going to listen to it don't do so in public you won't be able to hide your sighs or your squirming and you will need a long cool drink. The story is a hot fun romp, not what you expect at all from a regency romance, telling how Theo aka Theodore Rockley, Duke of Pembridge
allows Stella aka Mrs. Estela Bongorge an experienced widow help him deal with a delicate problem.

The story is well-written, the flow is perfect and the characters are excellent. the banter and relationships are so well done, you will love all the characters, especially Stella she knows what she wants, denies conventions and thinks nothing of flaunting her womanly wiles at every gentleman who catches her eye. As for Theo, his problem is one most men would want! How they deal with their relationship is at times hilarious but also thought-provoking. Theo is so good for Stella and I so wanted them to be together but he's engaged to another......

No spoilers from me, I will not say more except the characters are so well-drawn you can't help becoming invested in their relationship especially when you listen to Gareth J Davies's narration he's a talented voice actor and his rendition added to my enjoyment of the story.

Recommended 💜

It was a pleasure listening to this audiobook.
Like all of Emmanuelle's other stories, there’s humor, romance and a little bit of suspense. And a very happy ending for all the characters. I loved it and couldn't stop listening.

Narrator Gareth J Davies, along with the sound effects and a fun storyline, made this a recommended audiobook.

Witty Romance with Great Characters

Just like Lord Rockley's manhood, parts of this are not for the faint of heart. A thoroughly engaging tale featuring some great characters that's full of witty, tongue in cheek, banter.

The interactions between the characters brought a smile to my lips. The bedroom scenes a flush to my cheeks and a stirring in my loins. Ironically, I would've loved for the story to be longer

The narration of the audio book is first class

Quite short and not developped enough

I found it hard to imagine myself in the skin of the characters. I also found it a bit of a shame that the story of the letters was not developped into more. It was a side story that felt like it was just an add-on.
The chemistry between the 2 main characters was interesting but I felt like they did not need much to fall for each other.
The reading performance was really good and made me enjoyed the story despite my above comments.
