Disappointing.
I expected perhaps a little too much from this book having read other articles on Imposter Syndrome. It’s more a ‘If you feel this, do this’ list rather than going more deeply into mindset and change. I would rather prevent the feelings than fix them once they occur. I’m returning this title, sorry.

A real game changer of a book
I came to listen to this book with an open mind and left with a whole new insight on Imposter Syndrome. Phil Roberts explains things from a bite size level which makes everything much easier to understand. This really is something I will come back to use time and time again. There are so many aspects which I will be applying to my own life going forward. There is a 30 day plan at the very end on how you can use this to improve your own life. The advice is up to date, relevant, and incredibly useful. This book will help many people better themselves for sure. I most certainly did and strongly recommend this.

Packed with practical strategies to overcome IS
Working in the field of leadership and personal development, I frequently encounter people who described feeling like a fraud, undeserving of their success and who are waiting to be 'found out'. Now this book has given me a comprehensive and practical resource to help them explore their feelings of IS. It starts with an assessment - do I have it?, describes the 5 main types and gives good examples as well as sets a 30-day challenge with practical strategies to overcome IS. Jargon free and accessible, I shall be recommending this book to colleagues and friends as a place to start as well as adopt some if the strategies myself.
