Summary

A simple job. Low key. Investigate the mysterious deaths of two rich guys. No worries. Until spies and professional hitters started coming out of the woodwork, pointed my direction. Just another day at the office.

Welcome to the world of Case Lee, retired Delta Force operator. Stuck nose deep in the muck and mire of a trillion-dollar deal, espionage maneuvering, and shadow games.

Case ignores sound advice to let other high-powered players handle the situation. With his family in danger, he takes matters into his own hands. And affords his enemies the opportunity to discover something. You can mess with a lot of people on this good earth. But you don’t mess with Case Lee.

Fans of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher, Tom Clancy, Vince Flynn’s Mitch Rapp, and Robert Ludlum’s Jason Bourne will love the Case Lee series.

Best of the series... so far!

The Caribbean Job is the third book in the Case Lee series. Of the three books this one is definitely the best but I recommend all. They can be listened to in any order but I suggest book one first for background.
This book has a rogue CIA agent who has hired operatives to kill Case and after a few attempts Case finally goes after him.
Case had been trying to stay low key and under the radar because there is a bounty on him. But when his family's safety is at stake he has no choice. He has some very oddball friends and even more peculiar information and weapon contacts.
The end of this book blew me away! I was not expecting how the ending took a turn. WOW!
Tim Dixon does an excellent job narrating.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Highs and lows

Performance was excellent

A pretty good story with a not very good ending, hence highs and lows.

More "Jobs" for Case Lee... Please

I have read all the Case Lee "Jobs" in the past several months... and enjoyed each one. I've gotten to know the reoccurring cast of characters. This adventure does not involve all his Delta mates as much as the earlier ones.

I read (listen to) a lot of books in this genre and put this series in "the top tier". I always recommend reading a series in chronological order... although Milam does reintroduce the characters each time. Really like the narrator...
