Summary
When Scarlett meets taxidermist Henry, a passionate love affair commences. Gothic romance, heavy on the romance
A woman falls in love with a taxidermist and encourages his peculiar stuffing.
Very much on the literary side of literary horror, this is a gothic love affair set in the modern age but with strong nods towards Mary Shelley's classic.
If you're looking for visceral horror, or even much dread, this isn't for you, but there is some ghoulishness here too.
The reader does a decent enough job, but it is hard at times to tell the male voices apart - fortunately there are few scenes with multiple men speaking, but it does get distracting at times.
