Summary

Iain MacGregor knows how his warlock family feels about outsiders discovering the truth of their powers: it's forbidden. That doesn't seem to stop him from having accidental magickal discharges whenever he's around the woman who has captured his attention. Apparently his magick and other "parts" don't seem to care what the rules are, or that the object of his affection just might be his undoing.

Warning: Contains yummy, hot, mischievous MacGregor boys who may or may not be wearing clothing and who are almost certainly up to no good on their quest to find true love.

Fun and Frolics with The MacGregors

I love the Warlocks MacGregor and all of the interactions between the clan. Family matters and they all look out for each other. Such a fun set of books and the audiobooks bring the characters to life! This is Iain and Jane’s story and I throughly enjoyed each and every moment! Highly recommend!

crazy and hilarious family!

Spellbound is the second book in the fun and extremely witty Warlocks MacGregor series and if you have a thing for magic and men in kilts then these books will surely gladden your heart and brighten even the dullest day. Ive been a fan of this author since I first discovered her sci fi Dragon Lords series so reading these stories about hot men in kilts filled with mayhem and magic, plus sexy times really appealed to me!
This family is crazy and hilarious. Another fun read with a huge, magical family and the people in the town around them. I love this series, the antics of the family and the people they care about.

What a hilarious story I couldn't put it down, it was full of funny endearing moments with just the right amount of magical mayhem. This was a great second story well done.

MacGregor Brothers Lovable Scotts..Kilts And All

What a good mix of Humor, Magic and Steamy Romance - Michelle delivers it all in the Warlocks MacGregor series.

This is a fun, entertaining light read that's perfectly narrated. These brothers aren't just sexy warlocks, each have their own special ability, and love to play pranks on each other. Their favorite prank seems to be the petrifying spell, and they normally love to play this prank at the most inconvenient of times. Pranks aside, these brothers care, and lookout for each other, so when Iain's over protective mother senses something dark about Jane, they try to convince Iain that their mother may be onto something. Iain doesn't care, he's drawn to Jane like no other, and they have a deep connection, and lots of chemistry between them.

Jane's always felt she was close to death's door. She sees ghosts, and think she's losing her mind, the doctors can't seem to figure out what is wrong with her, but she knows she's on borrowed time. When her estranged half brother comes looking for her, she soon finds herself facing her past, and a dark secret that runs deep in her blood.

Michael Ferraiuolo is an AWESOME narrator who brings each scene, and character to life. I love how he delivers all the witty dialogue, and accents, he really makes this story funnier than it already is. It's always a pleasure to listen to Michael narrate.

When I 'm in the mood for something different, light and funny, Michelle Pillow is another one of my go to authors, and she delivers every time. Spellbound was the perfect listen, not to mention, another great whispersync deal! 4.5 stars.

Okay

I really like Michelle pillows books but the one thing that I can’t stand is that all the women appear to be weak in the beginning they can’t stand up for themselves until the end of the book and then that’s after they already told they’re going to be with someone I would like to see more strong willed women to actually make me work hard and don’t put up with the bull

A story of trusting your heart

I love this series. I have read it out of order, but I don't feel lost or enjoy it any less. In this book the MacGregor man we focus on is Ian. He meets a woman name Jane and he is instantly drawn to her. Never mind his mother thinks she is up to no good. Jane is anything but trouble. She actually thinks she's dying. She sees ghosts and her whole life doctors can't figure out what's wrong with her. Then the truth that she didn't know comes out and it turns out Ian is just what she needs. I loved how Ian was willing to go against everything his family thought and trust his heart with Jane. Their story is fun, adventurous, swoon worthy and so much more. If you haven't started this series, do it now! This narrator has the perfect voice to give you all the swoony feels.

It's okay

I only purchased this because I listened to another series by this narrator and fell in love with his performances so searched his other books.

Stumbled upon this one and it looked interesting and had good ratings.

The story is okay, but not alot of depth. Feels like there's simultaneously too much and not alot going on at once. The relationship didn't really develop. There was no angst. Just went from friends to in love. The "steamy" scenes were vague, short, and non descriptive. Nearly fade to black.

I liked both MCs, but wish the heroine had a bit more backbone and made the family earn her forgiveness versus...immediately "we're all good now". She's treated badly by nearly everyone except the H throughout and is a complete pushover. The story with her mom was completely confusing and contradictory. ***slight spoiler&*** (in the same chapter they explain its her bio mom, but says the woman stumbled across her mom giving birth?!?) huh

Overall, it's a good enough story, but wouldn't recommend if you're wanting alot of depth.

I LOVE listening to this narrator using his Scottish brogue!

This is such a wonderful story to listen to. The characters are very well done. This is the second book in the series. So we get great Information about the MacGregors. Plus all their fun little idiosyncrasies. Iain’s family is so much fun to watch and listen to.
Both of the main characters are done well. We learn about them as the story moves along. Jane is reserved and who wouldn’t be after the non welcome from Iain’s mother. I am not surprised she ran from him.

As the secondary characters....I LOVE this family! Each one alone just puts a smile on my face and together they make me laugh. What a crazy delightful family to be involved in. The brother and sister shenanigans vs the older adults and I can’t decide which I love more.

I listened to the on audio. The narrator is simply wonderful to listen to. When he (as the character) gets going in Scottish that is wonderful for my ears. I LOVE listening to him!

mayhem continues

This was beyond magical. Every time I thought it couldn't get more fantastical I was proven wrong. Each book is better than the last one, and it pulls me in deeper and deeper. What a wild crazy family. Looking forward to more. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job with voices, expressions, and accents.

Love the Scottish accents

Love listening to Scottish accents!!! The fact that the narrator brings out all of the emotions anywhere from funny to serious is outstanding.
The McGregor clan is an adorably loving but strange family.
