Really nice easy to listen to paranormal romance - I love books by this author. Helps the heroine isn’t a teenager

This is the first book in the Order of Magic Series, a Paranormal Romance Women's Fiction Novel. Wow! I loved it! Lorna's story is captivating! Mom of three, betrayed by her late husband, she is a wonderful character, strong, and smart. William is handsome, supportive, and caring. They share an instant attraction, and an undeniable chemistry. Vivien and Heather (William's sister) are amazing friends, and wonderful supporting characters. Lorna and her two new friends are gifted with psychic abilities. The storyline is original, intricate, and enthralling, filled with mystery, suspense, and some scary scenes. Impossible to put it down! Rebecca Cook did a wonderful job with the narration. Looking forward to listen to Third Time's a Charm, Vivien's story, the second book in the Series. If you like Paranormal Romance, and Women's Fiction, this series is definitely for you! I enjoyed it, and I HIGHLY recommend it.

Amazing Suspenseful Story!

This story tells how Lorna's life was irrevocably changed after she became a widow at 41. She never saw it coming, her life was happy she and her husband of twenty years had 3 grown-up kids who were all attending college Nicholas was the oldest then there were the twins Jenifer and Jacob. But at the Funeral she learned something that would affect her deeply.....

This story was so well written, it deals with loss and starting over, learning to trust your judgement and finding friendship and love in your 40s. There is so much more I could say but that would spoil a really wonderful story, I recommend downloading this and listening to it yourself.

The narration of this book by Rebecca Cook is excellent, she brought the story to life for me.

This was a really good listen! The main characters were easy to connect with, and I especially liked Lorna—her journey felt genuine and relatable. Watching her work through past hurt while slowly opening up to the possibility of love again made for an emotional but uplifting story. William was a great match for her, and their dynamic kept me invested. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in the series!
