Summary

I’m supposed to care for a kid, not create one!

Space needs nurses. That’s what they told me, and that’s why I agreed to go. They say Raider is the last place I want to end up, but I’m up to the challenge. I’ll care for the warlord’s child. One problem. He wants me to make said child. With him. No. Not happening. Never. I'm not selling my body to some brute! But Kain isn’t the brute I imagined. And the longer I’m on Raider, the longer I wonder if belonging to him would be so bad.

I don’t need tricks to find a woman. Compassionate. Smart. Beautiful. Abby is all these things. But she’s not willing, and I won’t force her. If I send her back, IEP will just pass her off to another planet. I can’t put her in that situation. As I get to know her, I want her more and more. My body knows she’s my fated mated. I don’t want her to merely be a surrogate. I want a family with her. Once she’s given me a child, she’ll be allowed to leave Raider and never return. What will it take to get her to stay?

Nurse for an Alien Warrior is a steamy alien romance featuring a warrior hero and the compassionate human nurse who awakens the mating gene within him.

Another great story in this series.

The Intergalactic Exchange Program tricks Abby, she believes she is going to be a nurse for Kain the Great the ruler of Raider. Kain thinks he has bought a contact for Abby to carry his child. Not the best start to their relationship. This is a great story, the characters are likable and engaging. The choice of narrator is excellent. Another great story in this series.

Different but good

This was a little different for other Roxie Ray books. It wasn’t so here are there. The plot was straight forward and doesn’t have many holes that I can see.
I love how the couple understands from the beginning that being together would be hard and maybe it isn’t such a good idea. They are allowed to grow and learn from each other and other characters around them.
The narrators are pretty good at being the characters a live. There was a little issue with weird sounds in the background and a lot of mouth sounds... like licking or smacking of the lips.
I would recommend others to give this one a try.

Enjoyable Audiobook

I enjoyed this story about two caring individuals that need to deal with corrupt documents and lack of communication. Roxie Ray does a great job of character development. When Kain realizes what has happened to Abby he only wants the best for her. Abby must decide what her heart really wants. Since this will be a life changing decision, it won't be easy for her.

Jack Calihan and Kelly Huston do an outstanding job of making this an enjoyable listening experience. They are talented storytellers that make you feel the emotions of these characters. I recommend this Audible book for your listening pleasure.

frustrating

Both Kain and Abby frustrated me and needed a good old fashioned throat punch to straighten up and get over themselves. At first, Kane was ambiguous and had double standards. He got mad because earth men wanted Abby not to have a career, but he had no recriminations about the way he manipulated her. Both needed honesty and better communication. Abby git hormonal and wishy washy which frustrated me. Good ending. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrators did a good job bringing it to life especially the male narrator.

Great action

I do love it when the H thinks the h can’t make up her own mind. When they have to apologise and make it up to her, it’s very humbling. This book has all the feels. Great performance from both narrators.

Fun Sci-fi Romance!!

Nurse For An Alien Warrior by Roxie Ray is a great Sci-fi romance!!
Abby definitely got more than she bargained for when she signed a contract to become a "life giver" for an alien warlord!
Fun, steamy and a little bit of danger made a great storyline! Love the audio narration as well!
Looking forward to more from this world the author has created!!

Interesting ideas

Kelley Huston comes across pretty well as a calming, nurse type, and Jack Calihan has some smokiness in his voice I could associate with a warrior type. The story is interesting, kinda tricky and sneaky, neat alien customs and the like. Kain and Abby are funny, but I really like Kain's friend Dordus. I don't do spoilers, but I'll say this is part of a mates series, can be read as a standalone.

This book had an amazing story line and was right up my alley with the alien romance it has just the right amount of physical encounters if you catch my drift lol it's not too overwhelming with that there is a very good story behind it all. Both narrorators were awesome and I always enjoy stories narrorated by Kelley Huston definitely check out her stories if you haven't already 🙌 *I received this free audiobook for an honest review*

Not a romance

I thought this was supposed to be a romance according to the description. However the characters constantly keep secrets and lie to each other. Even for fiction it is a poor depiction of a romance. All the back and forth was mind numbing.

Just a little whiny.

The hero was a little timid, and the female lead was just pedestrian; get over it already. It was a Good story, but a little slow. Also, the narrators are not pleasing. The female narrator sounded like Mrs. Cravitz on Bewitch. Ugh.
