Interesting world building and characters
This book is the first in this paranormal series, and each book has a different couple but the books are linked.
Blue and Skye are twins who are celebrating their 21st birthday when Skye is taken during a demon raid. The sisters only have each other so Blue is determined to find and save her twin. In order to do this she agrees to a deal with a demon.
The world building in this story was really interesting and I enjoyed learning about the demon world and how it all works especially the politics at play in the demon court.
Everything Blue thought she knew about demons seems not to be true the more time she spends with Sol. Their relationship grows quite quickly and they are highly flirtatious with each other from the beginning and this then leads into lots of smexy time together.
Blue is a very dominant character, and Sol seems to enjoy the power play between them.
The books ends on a HFN and the story appears to continue in the next book.
I enjoyed the narrators voice, I always enjoy listening to an English accent. She was easy to listen to and understand and the different voices for different characters helped keep me immersed in the story. My only complaint is the attempt at an Irish accent, it sounded more Welsh to me, luckily is wasn't a major character.

Come upon by chance
Glad I came across this book! Amazing listen, great characters and awesome author. Will definitely be listening to the whole series!
