Steady downbeat narration kept an often bloody storyline on track.

I've loved this trilogy, listened to all 3 in one week. The story is captivating and fast paced, but I never got lost. The narrator does an excellent job. highly recommend, this (I believe) transcends across genres, well worth a go even if you don't traditional enjoy sci fi fantasy, there is far more here!

Pierce Brown is an engaging writer; Tim Gerard Reynolds is a brilliant narrator. I recommend this trilogy to any dystopian science fiction fans. It had me gripped from the very first word. I'm looking forward to the final two books and then I can't Imagine what I will listen to. Thanks to Pierce and Tim for filling my leisure hours with such intrigue.

Fantastic end to the first three books, but not the end of the series entire apparently!
I did think that the quality of this book would suffer but I'm happy to report that it is still completely riveting as the first two. Some great moments and some truly gut wrenching, heartbreaking ones. I think the human condition is examined in many of the character in the series and explores many of the darker aspects in gory detail.
I'm going to be downloading the next novel as soon as I'm done writing this.

Pierce Brown has outdone himself with the third book in the Red Rising trilogy...
if you devoured the first two books like I did and couldn’t wait to start the third, you will not be disappointed. With plot twists aplenty, Morning Star kept me gripped to the very end and left me with a tear as it finished... highest praise also to Tim Gerard Reynolds for his stunningly good narration. I can’t recommend this book or this series highly enough.
