About this listen

Honor and betrayal fuel a caste-shattering revolution in the action-packed new novel from the number one New York Times best-selling author of the Red Rising Trilogy.

Ten years after the events of Morning Star, Darrow and the Rising are battling the remaining Gold loyalist forces and are closer than ever to abolishing the color-coded caste system of Society for good. But new foes will emerge from the shadows to threaten the imperfect victory Darrow and his friends have earned. Pierce Brown expands the size and scope of his impressive Red Rising universe with new characters, enemies, and conflicts among the stars.

the narrator for lyria is totally rubbish. the accent is so fake and the high pitch of her child's voice is like nails on a black board. I haven't finished reading but I can already tell this is going to be a slog.

haven't finished but...

really enjoyed this new installment, it is just as gripping as the first series of books

brilliant

Another wonderful tale of inter-planetary skullduggery. Not a fan of two of the narrators (Lysander - too flat, Lyria - too highly strung), doesn’t spoil the overall delivery too much though so no harm done. If you love these books, this is an essential addition.

Another fabulous chapter in the series

a phenomenal carry in the series.. the narrator for lysander was quite dull and monotone and overall quite boring to listen to, the same goes for the female narrator. however the narrators for Efram and Darrow took me away into the world of pierce brown. beautifully done!

almost perfect

Pierce Brown is an amazing writer, the story was seriously thrilling and perfect and everything about it as way better than i imagined.
but the performance was not good at all.
Gérard Reynolds for me was amazing narrator because i heard the first 3 book's each after the other, the 4th one was weird for me to listen and i took a break from it for a while because of the other performance voices.
i do recommend this book 10/10.

That was a great Book, but
