Summary

Dans Les femmes savantes, Molière s'attaque cependant moins au beau sexe qu'aux cuistres des deux bords. Si Bélise ou Philaminte revendiquent un savoir qui leur encombre la langue sans leur pénétrer l'esprit, l'art et la science de Trissotin se résument également à un ridicule jargon mondain. Trissotin et trissotines : renvoyés dos à dos, enfin à égalité ! Avec peut-être... sûrement même, l'idée derrière la tête que si les hommes et les femmes sont égaux, ma foi, il en est de plus égaux que d'autres.
