Each lesson provides 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation and new vocabulary and structures. Detailed instructions enable you to understand and participate in the conversation. Each lesson contains practice for vocabulary introduced in previous lessons. The emphasis is on pronunciation and comprehension and on learning to speak Norwegian.

Second course and made such a difference already!
I bought this course after getting quite a lot out of the first one, even considering I've studied Norwegian for 2 years before. I was not only able to go through some basics, which I have by now forgotten, I've also learned a few new sentences and words. I am very surprised at how effective the course is, because now I repeat sentences automatically even when I do my work on the computer and is not 100% present. Recommended!

Fascinating…
…how quickly one can learn full sentences with this method! I have a grammar book on the side but only because I like to create flawless conversations without hesitating about grammar. I highly recommend Pimsleur courses either to brush up on passive knowledge or just to become fluent in the early stages of any language.
