Summary

Are we being poisoned?

Those fluffy white trails crisscrossing the sky - some say they are simply water vapor frozen into crystals. Others say they are deadly chemicals, some of which are for military defense, and others to control the weather and the world’s food supply.

Are the chem-trails really part of a clandestine government conspiracy? Four people believe so and claim they have proof, but each of their lives comes to a tragic and mysterious end before they can offer their proof to the world.

Join Private Investigator Walt Williams as he searches for the truth and looks for clues to explain the untimely deaths.

Thought Provoking Listen!

This book might be the most thought provoking book that I have listened to. I love how Robert Thornhill weaves his magic of writing realistic stories that have basis of real life wove into fiction. The characters of Walt, Maggie, Ox, the Professor are all so endearing. The thought of our government doing something with chemtrails is very believable. I also believe they cover up a lot of things. I have been paying much more attention to the sky since I listened to this story. I am so glad that I discovered this series of books. Each story is its own standalone listen, yet mentions something from a previous book or two to give a background for the story. Another tidbit that adds to the books is including parts of songs in the stories. George Kuch does such a fantastic job with his performance of Walt and the gang and other characters. His voice adds so much emotion, humor, and the right tension. I received this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I always feel good when I listen to a book by this author and enjoy thinking about it.

Environmentally Conscious With A Sense of Humor

Again, Robert Thornhill helps us to wash a hearty dose of needed education with a tall glass of laughs. Question: If the DOD and government agencies are responsible for chem trails, climate control, et al, then why aren’t people up in arms about it? Thornhill’s answer: Apathy. Thornhill’s rhetorical food for thought: Is blissful ignorance the real wolf in sheep’s clothing?

Despite the serious subject matter and regardless of the political bifurcation to which topics such as the existence of chem trails might subject themselves, Thornhill stuffs in plenty of chuckles to keep both sides of the argument in reconciling stitches.

The clever cameo of himself as author Robert *Bob* Thornhill at Mel’s Diner was the best. 😍

George Kuch nailed the narration.

Truth or Fiction?

The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook with no expectation of a review. This book will make you question whether there's any truth to the chem-trails conspiracy theory. Is the government poisoning us or are the chem-trails really water vapor frozen into crystals? I'm not sure what to believe. All I know is this book ended in a way that was unsatisfactory for me. I hope the next book, Lady Justice and the Conspiracy Trial, will answer the questions I still have.

Another great book

I liked this book. It was thought provoking and i do like how the books have morphed a bit since Walts retirement. I love the humor injected into places and yet the seriousness that is also shown. Sometimes the author draws out situations that feel like they should have ended, but overall it works out great and i just need to be more patient with the flow of the story. I do like a continuing underlying story in a series, but i am not so much a fan of cliff hangers between books (or even cliff hangers between movies or shows of a series). I like the main story to have an actual ending in a book.

Close to truth

law-enforcement, conspiracy, family-dynamics, friendship, suspense, murder, kidnapping -----
Scary stuff, this. Some of it is verifiable, some is theater, but all of it deserves consideration. The investigation into possible governmental wrongdoing is well done, and the murder investigations are really good. Plenty of plot twists and the humor we expect and love make this another Must Read in this excellent series!
George Kuch continues to be excellent as narrator, but I find myself running it at 1.2 lately.

#22 in Lady Justice and amazing

Wow! How Robert Thornhill keeps turning out these wonderful books is amazing. This is book 21 in the Lady Justice series and it is amazing. I really love how Walt the main character in the book turns to Robert Thornhill to help get the word out to the public about the chance of a conspiracy in our government to change the food supply, weather and possible spraying of chemicals for defense. So Walt wants Robert to write a book with this as the subject and what am I reading :-) Plus now I will never look to the sky's in the same way again. This story will continue in book 22 can't wait. As always George Kuch does an incredible job of narrating this book. As I have reviewed before he IS the voice of Walt. Thank you Robert for the chance to review this audio book. This is my honest review the only kind I do.

Controversial and Entertaining

Let me begin by saying that I live with a conspiracy nut, a self-proclaimed "expert". Words like "chem-trails", "geoengineering" and "fake news" are part of everyday conversation in our household.

Being a fan of the Lady Justice series, I was intrigued by the controversial subject matter and was curious to see how it would be presented. Walt becomes involved in a case that involves the mysterious deaths of people linked to a clandestine government program. For every seemingly outlandish claim, there always appears to be a perfectly logical explanation. The occasional nuggets of truth only complicate matters further. Is the conspiracy real or just an elaborate hoax? Is this story purely fictional or is it merely disguising itself as fiction? We may never know. What I DO know is that this latest installment of the series was highly entertaining, as well as thought-provoking. I was even motivated to do some searching of my own on the internet. Listeners may never look at the sky the same way again.

George Kuch narrated the entire series and I appreciated the continuity of having the same narrator throughout. His performance was outstanding, drawing me in immediately and maintaining my interest for the entire story. I really enjoyed Lady Justice and the Conspiracy and would highly recommend it and the rest of the series.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This review is my honest opinion.

It's different being a PI

The stories have taken a different turn since Walt has retired from the force and become a PI. Regular rules don't always apply. This story gets in your head and makes you think about conspiracy theories. What do you think about the white streaks in the skies caused by planes? Is there truth or is it purely speculation? Too many murders or presumed murders as at least 1 has not been confirmed. I like how Walt got up in the Mafia's face when his wife is abducted. Either it's purely genius or purely stupid, you decide. Didn't see the Mafia's role in this story till it happened, wow was I impressed! As always Mr Kutch really give these octagenerians a life of their own through his ability to give them their own charactership if that's even a word. Love this pair together in writing and narrating these stories. I voluntarily give this review in exchange for a free copy with honesty and unbiase.

conspiracy or not?

this latest work by author Robert Thornhill provides the reader with suspense, intrigue, red herrings, and more twists and turns than the Coney Island Cyclone. the story is brilliantly interwoven and challenge the reader's assumptions, forcing us to abandon what we think we know and consider previously unfathomable possibilities. Read to find out. if it is a conspiracy to you!!

A cliffhanger that leaves you thinking

This was one of the most thought provoking plot lines & really leaves you thinking open ended when the book finishes. The story discusses chem-trails & looks at both sides of the belief. Some people say they know the truth & that they are poisoning us, & others say it’s all a conspiracy theory. It was really fun to think about all the possibilities and follow Walt as he questions what he does or doesn’t know about “lady justice.” As usual there are a lot of laughs along the way & time spent with the whole gang taking on crime together!
