Summary

A mysterious box left by a dying man falls into Walt’s hands. He learns, much to his dismay, that the box is being sought by agents from four countries. Walt has no idea what the box contains but is told that in the right hands it could be a blessing to mankind, but in the wrong hands, a curse.

Walt is charged with the safekeeping of the box, but at what expense? Others who have come in contact with the box are dead. At some point, Walt must decide whether the contents of the box are worth risking the lives of those closest to him.

Is it Pandora's box?

This book has lots of surprises in store for you, including what is in the mysterious box. This was a fun listen and I really enjoyed it, the characters are so much fun, that you will be chuckling along with there escapades.
A series of deaths leads a mysterious box into the hands of Walt Williams. He receives a visit and a phone call from various interested parties telling him not to let it fall into the wrong hands because it could bring about the end of the planet or save it. But who's hands are the right ones? The American government, the Chinese or the Russians? And could holding on to it be just as deadly? Walt and his friends will have to figure it out before the body count rises to include one of them.
George Kuch does another excellent job with the voices, bringing Walt and his crazy gang to life.

A blessing or curse to mankind.

Once again, Robert Thornhill and George Kutch, voice of Walt Williams, take readers on a glorious ride, this time with a box. It seems that everyone wants it, or, rather, what is in it, from the U.S. government to the Chinese and the Russians. When it comes into Walt William's posession, he just wants to be rid of it, but nothing goes to plan...
Another exciting story in this wonderful, long running series, featuring the elderly detective and the glorious characters he is pleased to call his friends.
Highly recommend.

Lady Justice and the Mysterious Box

Each person that looks upon the contents of a mysterious box comes to an untimely end. Now the box has found its way into Walt’s hands. How will Walt find his way out of this predicament?

Robert Thornhill continues to amaze with his fantastic storytelling. I’m already anxious to see what’s in store for Walt Williams next.

I am thrilled that George Kuch continues to narrate the books in the Lady Justice series. He does a fantastic job.

Whats in the box? (spoilers)

Oh Walt. He always seems to step in it no matter how hard he tries to avoid trouble. When his fathers girlfriend's estranged brother shows up and promptly dies in Walt's hotel he ends up with hit men, government agents, Chinese, Russians, and more after him and try to steal the box that ended up in his unsuspecting hands. Ordered to protect the box at any cost he struggles to determine what it is, why everyone seems to want it at any cost, and what the heck he is going to do next. Another great story in the series. Excellent read

Lady Justice and the Mysterious Box is my thirty-second enjoyable read/listen from author Robert Thornhill. Another entertaining clean read, filled with puns & one-liners. Throughout the book I found myself smiling a lot & at times laughing out loud. Each book in the series seems better than the last as Thornhill continues to up his game. Narrator George Kuch again adds greatly to the listening enjoyment with his wide variety of entertaining voices & inflections, Kuch IS Walt Williams! I’ll definitely be reading more from Thornhill! I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. Up next is Lady Justice and the Mystery Mansion. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

What's in the Box?

Robert Thornhill continues to amaze me with his writing. I found this book to be different from most of the Lady Justice series, yet just as enjoyable. One cannot predict the direction this story was going to take. I loved that aspect, along with how the story plays out. There are many organizations after this box, and those associated with it seem to die. The cameo appearances of some characters from previous books is also a plus. I love catching up with these tidbits. George Kuch narrates this book with his distinguishable voices of the various characters. I love it being able to hear exactly whom is speaking. He performs the humor with perfect timing and how he says it. I can't wait for the next adventure for Walt and gang.

You'll need a notepad to keep track of this one...

The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook with no expectation of a review. Wow, just when I think there's nothing the author could write that would surprise me, along comes this book. There are so many players after the mysterious box, you'll need a notepad to keep track of who is after it, who has it, and who was killed for it. Does anyone know what is in the box? I'm not telling; you'll just have to get the book to find out.

Really different!

suspense, verbal-humor, situational-humor, spies

Wow! Extremely creative tale very deserving of its title! More than mysterious, its contents being deadly dangerous. Unusually short, but very effective. Well worth the read!
Once again George Kuch does a great job as narrator.

What was in that box?

Very interesting and very real scenario. Kinda weird how the box got connected to Walt. I love these octagenerians and the trouble they always find themselves in. This story did not disappoint. It has all the fun, flair, and mystery of it's previous stories. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I LOVE this series!

This series is like nothing else I have ever read. How Robert Thornhill keeps writing book after book and have them all be so great is a mystery to me. I just hope he keeps them coming. Walt Williams is once again in a mess that is so over his pay scale (HeHe like he is even paid for this) that he tries to solve this mess without help. But like a bad penny his problem just keeps turning back up and worse each time. I loved how this ends too, lets just say it is open ended and I smell another book. George Kuch once again is the narrator and he does an outstanding job. For me he is the voice of Walt Williams even the books in this series I have read and not listened to I hear his voice in my head. I was gifted this book with the understanding that I would leave an honest review. Honestly give this series a try.
