Critic reviews
"No one gets this big without amazing natural storytelling talent - which is what Jim has, in spades. The Alex Cross series proves it." (Lee Child, international best-selling author of the Jack Reacher series)

Awful audio
What happened to the other reader. This new guy is awful and doesn’t pronounce the name of the bad guy right and don’t get me started on what he has done to John Sampson’s voice. Makes a 6ft 9 character sound like a weasel. The narrator has totally missed the point. Don’t do it! Read this one instead!

More twists than a cheap phone cord
Not sure why Donald Trump came to mind reading this? So did Homeland to be fair. Unpopular Presidents? Never!
Further Alex Cross stalking weirdos wanting their moment of making history. Where have all the 'normal' serial killers gone to?
Am entertaining, fast paced book giving you two cases for the price of one. You may think this storyline lacks credibility but alas that's the world we live in now.

Excellent narrator
Loved this book made all the better by an excellent narrator. I listen to my books in the car as I do a lot of driving and will sometimes sit outside my house waiting to finish the chapter.

Great narrator, exciting story
I read the first two Alex Cross books a long time ago and bought this on a whim, but have enjoyed it so much I am going to work through all in the series. It is very easy listening, good pace and I enjoyed the family and other relationships that run through the book. The narrator reminded me slightly of Morgan Freeman at times, which is never a bad thing!

Familiar
A good yarn but there's a habit of points being repeated which can be irksome.

I’m really enjoying these books, they’re easy to listen to, Alex is a great character, fantastic performance and very entertaining/ great storyline- I would definitely recommend them (especially if you like a series of books- I finished the Cormoran Strike series and thankfully found this)
