All without writing to politicians, joining protests, signing petitions, or being angry at the people that are causing the problems. Good solutions are often different from conventional environmental wisdom. The average American adult has a carbon footprint of 30 tons per year. Replacing a petroleum car with an electric car will cut 2 tons. But if you live in a cold climate and you switch from electric heat to a rocket mass heater, you will cut 27 tons!

Not Much Depth
I received this book for free. I am voluntarily posting this review and any opinions expressed herein are my own.
This book is very short and very superficial. The author asks if you know how to do BLANK [a variety of skills ranging from gardening to carpentry to building to animals to power sources, etc.]. If the reader's answer is in the negative, the author responds with - "Read a book" - and provides not much more information on that topic. I would sum this book up as a conversation you have at a party - not much depth but with some common sense recommendations.
