Magical Listen!

Amelia Morgan's Hexes and Other Hairy Situations is a short magical listen. I so enjoyed Peg and Connor, and the mystery man Trevor. There are numerous surprises in this book. Stephanie Quinn was perfect performing this book. She brought the characters to life with the right emotions. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.

A SWEET WITCH COZY

HEXES AND OTHER HAIRY SITUATIONS is the tenth book in the Witches of Enchanted Bay series. Though it does stand well on its own, I believe it would be stronger if I had read more of the series. This is a sweet witch cozy with a light romance. Meg Walton, her mother, and her grandmother are all witches, except her grandmother is now a talking cat. Meg’s boyfriend is a local police officer. This is a wonderful short story. My biggest disappointment is that I don’t have more books from this series. Narration: Stephanie Quinn did a very good job of playing the many voices of this story – not easy when there are so many different females! Note: While I received this book as a gifted audiobook copy, my opinions are my own and are given freely. Title: HEXES AND OTHER HAIRY SITUATIONS Series: Witches of Enchanted Bay #10 Category /Genre: Paranormal Cozy Mystery Recommended for: 14+ vocabulary / supernatural content Listenability: OK for ears Received from: Amelia Morgan (as an Audible gifted copy)

A light, fun, cozy with witches & a talking cat

Meg Walton and her mother Beth are witches running a magical bakery in the little town of Enchanted Bay. Beth's mother, Penelope, is now a talking cat. They've recently met another witch, Pamela. Oh, and Meg is engaged to a police officer, Connor, who doesn't know she's a witch. Meg's father, Trevor, abandoned Beth before Meg was born, after Beth told him she was a witch, so Beth has always strongly discouraged telling anyone about their magical powers. But now Trevor has suddenly returned, with a favor to ask of Beth. A magical favor, at that. Oh, and Pamela has had a dream that strongly suggests that Connor may be hiding something important, too. Something that would certainly make sense of the pattern of when he is and isn't available. It's light, it's fun, and in this one, no one dies in the course of the story. And all the regulars are fun people that it's enjoyable to get to know. Recommended. I received a free copy of this audiobook from the author, and am reviewing it voluntarily.

This is a great book

This book has witches, talking cats. zHow would you act if a cat start talking to you. . There is even a poloce officer who is a wolf. Notthat's such a fun mix. Megworks in a bakery and the people around her are unaware she is a witch. This is a cute, fun, cozy mystery with so many twists and turns. It has Believable and likeable characters. It is clean, no foul language, frank sex or gore. There is even a seance. I enjoyed the book with Stephanie Quinn doing the narration. She does a great job. She pulls you in and peaks your interest till the end of the book.

Loved it.

Meg's dead beat dad comes to town to get Meg's mom to do a seance to find out why his brother died. She does not want Meg to know because she is afraid she might get hurt. She will do the seance providing he leaves town afterwards and does not contact Meg. Also Meg learns a secret her boyfriend has. This was a cute short story and very entertaining. Stephanie Quinn did a great job with the narration. I was gifted this book at my request in exchange for an honest review.
