The story is great! The spicy scenes are hot! The love is so real! But dear gods the narrator’s choice for Kip’s voice and accent is inscrutable and dreadful. It really took me out of the regular and the spicy scenes. I don’t often mind my dependency on audiobooks because I can’t read effectively anymore with my eyes, but I’m definitely feeling that now. I wish my need to read this book could have waited for them to potentially re-record it with the stars of the show!
