I wasn’t sure about the first one, but the new narrator is definetly a better fit, and the story was very good! If you liked the second half of the first one, you’ll definetly like this!

I loved Heated Rivalry as a book. As an audiobook? Less so. The narrator was particularly weak when it came to voicing Ilya. Thankfully, Cooper North is a big improvement. The story follows on with Shane and Ilya now having established their relationship, and the trials and tribulations that occur as they attempt to maintain their secret away from their public personas. There were some real heartbreaking moments, but overall? I came out of this with the biggest grin on my face. I’d love to see more of my favourite hockey players, but if this is the end of their story, then it is an utterly sublime way to part.
