Summary

Accents - NO

The attempt at a Welsh accent is dreadful, and so jarring considering its the accent of one of the protagonists. Can't make it through the rest of the book. I'm not even nit picking, if it even sounded remotely Welsh I'd be okay but it's a weird almost comical cross between offensive Indian stereotype accent and Chinese. Was no one in or around the booth listening in when this started and decided perhaps best to scrap it? How do you record hours upon hours of this and at no point did someone intervene? If you can't do an accent, just don't do the accent. Hardly anyone would have complained about a Welsh protagonist speaking with a plain English accent. But THIS abomination??
