Summary

After her world is brutally destroyed, Anari becomes the epitome of a good-girl-turned-bad. Consumed with a desire for revenge, she and her best friend, Monica, enter a life of drugs, fast money, and betrayal - adopting the very lifestyle that pushed them into the game in the first place. Hiding their true identities, they quickly rise to the top of New Jersey's dope game. Using everyone who crosses their paths, nothing - not betrayal or addiction - will stop them from dispensing their street justice.

Narrator was awesome!

I loved it. Ikane is the best narrator ever...Pls do a book 2 so we can make sure Tiffany gets what she deserves.

WOW

Where does Dirty Money rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I HAVE LISTENED TO IN AWHILE... MUST HEAR

Who was your favorite character and why?

I MUST SAY THAT VAUGHN WAS MY FAVORITE CHARACTER BECAUSE HE STAYED DEDICATED TO HELPING ANARI.

MUCH better than Book 1

After book 1, Diary of a Street Diva I was reluctant to even listen to this book. But, my book club had high hopes of the authors redeeming themselves from that first book so we stayed the course with the trilogy... that was last week and this book got so good to us that we went straight on to book 3 without even leaving reviews of book 2 (this book)- mostly because this book ended in a cliffhanger that made us immediately listen to book 3. Now admittedly I cannot remember all of the details of this book because I just finished book 3 and that is fresh in my mind, but what I do remember is, although I am not typically a fan of iiKane's fast reading, she was SUCH a welcome change from the narrator in book one and overall this storyline was just so much better than book 1. It held my interest the entire time and while I was able to predict one part, there were several very unpredictable plot twists. There were also however, several confusing moments with Anari's daydreams and nightmares, so I was left questioning if a few things she thought/dreamed were real, like the scene about the 6:00 news... was that real? And if it was- who is Tasha and where is the other baby? That subplot just fell by the wasteside when Shauna was introduced.
