A rash of burglaries in the small town of Lark Point, California has a domino effect on a group of local residents; eight lives bound together by honor, betrayal and love. Tangled like Music rushes through the small town like a whirlwind and creates changes that none could have anticipated. Love, mystery, deception, murder, and relationships intertwine to tell the story of redemption and the unraveling of life's tangles. It's a recipe for a song.
An author with the disease to please, an aging attorney in a quasi-marriage, an ambitious television journalist, along with disconnected acquaintances tossed in with actors, college students, and thugs. Will one find the lost music for her soul in San Francisco, Paris, or where she started from? Will the journalist use the town’s crimes as a springboard to his own success? Will a cunning man's revenge impact poetic justice?
I enjoyed the story line and characterisation very much but the narrators rendition of the male characters jangled in my ears somewhat and spoiled it for me. However, overall it was good and eased me through a long Journey.
