Summary
Baltimore is a nice town, if you don't mind the serial killers - the original, and the copycat - a mimic clever enough to conceal himself with the evidence of the first. The only give-away? His victims...so young, so pretty. Not like the others.
Detective Truax sees this, but his young captain disagrees and views him with extreme prejudice. He brings in the FBI, Agent Frances Vecchio, who launches her own investigation into the Cyanide Killer. Her treachery undermines Truax's every move putting his job, and lives, at risk, and in order to apprehend a pair of repetitive killers, Truax must discredit the primary witness against him - the evidence itself.

Very good, full of intrigue and a great twist
This listen was pretty great. The story started a little slow but soon built up pace and didn't stop. The characters were well thought out, believable and had enough back story given to them without detracting from the main story arc. I thoroughly enjoyed this listen.

Opens with a bang
Disturbing. The story definitely opens with a bang and doesn't disappoint. It loses momentum a little in between, but it's a great read overall. It has a few twists to hold your attention and I like the ending. The narrator is interesting. I found him a bit robotic to start with, but that might be just because I'm more used to British voices. So, my 3 stars mean I liked it. I certainly got used to it pretty quick, and it fitted the story quite well.
