About this listen

The Apocalypse is here. Monsters roam the Earth. To survive, he must master the System.

Giant fireblasts tear across the earth as the Gates of Hell are ripped open. In an instant, billions are killed. Human technology becomes utterly worthless in the face of the end of the world.

Fortunately for Jaco, he barely survives the opening act of the Apocalypse.

Unfortunately for him, he has to live through what comes next.

Those who died in the initial blast are reincarnated as undead monsters. Massive fiery pits swallow up the center of every major city across the world. Demonic creatures make all realms of Earth their home.

But all hope is not lost. The Angels left a parting gift before their defeat. A System that bestows Humanity the power to fight back.

With it, Jaco shall master his Druid Class and do whatever it takes to not only survive the end of the world, but to thrive.

Don't miss the start of this new Apocalyptic System LitRPG by V.A. Lewis, bestselling author of Salvos and Amelia The Level Zero Hero, writing together with D. Pidge. Featuring loads of action, a detailed system, power progression, Druid abilities, and so much more!

It's perfect for fans of System Apocalypse, Apocalypse Redux, and Primal Hunter!

can't wait for book 2 because is a really good story. Good build up of someone that starts with nothing.

is a really good story

I try to be tolerant of minor flaws, especially when the plot and the MC are interesting - but the CONSTANT references to the MC as "the young man" or "the Druid" (especially when "the young man" is alone so "he" is sufficient) are just too much. EVERY OTHER BREATH ! I just can't take any more - as much as I tried to stay the course - it has just got too much... can't finish it - stopped caring... sorry - "this old reader" has decided that "this not a druid" needs to listen to something that won't make "this old reader" want to shoot herself...

good plot - well narrated... but...

well the first couple of chapters where good. and I was really happy that the normal encounters in the beginning hat some nice plot twists so it wasn't the usual fair.

but SPOILERS! well mild one

for me the story just fell flat after the MC finds some other Survivors. basic moral stuff and a setup for a plot that was just not es much fun as bashing skeletons in the beginning. have to say I skipped a lot after chapter 20 and ended it fast afterwards skipping multiple chapters. it's just not my cupcake:)

okisch
