About this listen

A whole new world. Well, the framework. Surely nothing will go wrong.

Artorian shrugged off moonfall and war like it was a gentle rain and must now face new trials. Specifically: life in the world created by the Dungeon Core, Cal. Unfortunately, Cal has only put together the most bare-bones of systems.

He's no stranger to solving near impossible problems; how difficult could it be to smooth out the slew of angry Mages with bitter rivalries, uncountable hidden secrets, a complete inability to cultivate, and a Dungeon creating messes at full speed? One way or another, it is up to Artorian to pick up the pieces. He’s ready to roll up his sleeves and administrate.

There are some very serious holes in this world, and the old academic is determined to fix them.

Although the start was a bit slow, the book picked up pretty quickly and dealt with some heavy themes in the humours way that Artorian's mind works.

of all the books in the divine dungeon universe these ones put such a smile on my face.

this book was a lot of fun with a lot less peril then the first 4 but still worth listening to.

I love the interconnections in this universe and the many a-ha moment when a piece of the puzzle drops into place.

lots of fun , but with a little less peril

I was initially a little unsure how well this new phase of the series would work as it moves away from the parallel series that originated most of the characters, but the new setting works well on the whole and has a broad scope for future instalments, both from the setting and the main character who remains highly entertaining.

The narration is a strength of the series with the narrator helping to bring this varied cast of characters to life in a distinctive and clear manner.

Overall, despite the change in setting this is another strong instalment in the series.
