He changes his voice for every character and I have no idea how he does it.
I honestly love him voicing these books.
This is book 3 within this series and the story get more intriguing.
I wanted Liam's story from the begining of listening to these book,he is an Irishman with a secret past..A tragic past that ended with his brother dead and his fellow colleagues dead also and he was running from it all,but he couldn't remember any of it...Would that past finally catch up with him in this story.
Liam O'Donnell was in London on an assignment,to bring Thomas Molina down for terrorism,and he was also connected to Mr Black aka Eli Nelson who is a rogue agent.
Avery Charles is Molina's P.A she is innocent and thinks she is working for a charity she has no idea what her boss is doing,or the ulterior motives Molina has for her.
Avery also has a painful past she had lost her husband and child,and wore the scars for those losses..She was injured and had problems with her mobility sometimes.It was Liam's mission to seduce Avery for information and of course he does it no problem.
Liam is attracted to the curvy shy goddess and wants to dominate her,she is a perfect submissive.
I know BDSM is a big part of these books,but I am not all that bothered about the BDSM like I have said before..Those scenes go on too long for me sometimes,don't get me wrong I LOve a good sex scene..But these just don't do it for me...
I am here for the story which I can't get enough of so I am definately going to carry on listening to the rest of this series.
I am so invested and engaged in the story and I was eager to know what had happened to Liam back in Ireland and how the romance plays out,since Liam is lying about his identity to Avery.
He becomes Avery's Dom and she easily slips into the submissive role,but during their sessions feeling start to get involved between them.
Avery who is so timid and isolated suddenly blossoms being with Liam,her confidence grows as she never imagined someonw as gorgeous as Liam could be interested in her,she was too plain and boring.But Liam seemed to adore her and loves her body not being able to get enough of her.
But is it all a ploy ?
There is alot to process in this story and alot going on,but it is so addicting and there is a revelation that had me gasping and thinking WHAT THE HELL !!..I never seen that one coming.
There are some amusing moments also in the book and the banter is funny between characters..I LOve Adam and Jake masquerading as a gay couple.
Lexi Blake knows how to write a good adventurous,steamy romantic suspense and I look forward to book 4.
