There is a reason this series never left my mind after eyeball reading it years ago. This group of characters is so tight and heavy on the found family aspect. While each book, technically can be read as stand-alones, there is an underlying story that continues throughout the series, so to get maximum enjoyment, I would start at the beginning. They are all so good anyway so that’s not a hardship.

This one follows Liam and Avery and their story was fantastic. Liam falls hard for her and helps her overcome a lot while keeping her safe from friends (Ian) and foes alike. Lots of crazy twists in this that will have your jaw on the floor.

As far as the narration, Ryan West nailed another one. He is one narrator I will never sleep on. His talent at tackling multiple characters is a prime reason not skip over a solo narration. He assigned each character a unique voice and has remained consistent throughout the whole series so far. I look forward to listening to him in the next books in the series.
