Sebastian is still dealing with the aftereffects of his military career and the emotional and physical toll it has taken on his body. He is a sommelier who is determined to distance himself from Tiffany, a waitress at Top, as he believes that he can’t give her what she deserves. When he finds himself paired with her for BDSM training he will no longer be able to deny his feelings for her.

Tiffany sees Sebastian as the man he is and not what he views as his shortfalls however convincing him of that is proving to be quite the challenge. She is determined to show him that he is the only man she wants and isn’t willing to accept less than she deserves from him.

The physical connection between is intense but it is the emotional connection that makes them the perfect pair. The characters are compelling, and it is always wonderful to catch up with the rest of the gang who offer humor and advice as needed. Sebastian York audio performance not only manages to bring out the very different personalities as well but the humor and emotion of the story as well.

Another great installment in the Masters and Mercenaries world. Once again, we get a disabled vet, Sebastian, that needs every bit of acceptance that Tiffany offers. There’s quite a bit of work that goes into this relationship and it was a great journey. There’s something so heart warming about this group, and once again, Ian Taggert has a way of stealing the show in every one of these books.

Sebastian York can do no wrong!! He expertly handled this solo narration. His voice is perfect for a broody MMC and he did an amazing job with all the different characters getting unique voices.

This found family, BDSM, amputee vet was enjoyable. I really liked Sebastian and Tiffany's characters and I loved how they connected emotionally and physically. This book was well written and I enjoyed the narration by Sebastian York.

I really liked this story.
Book number 3 in the spin off series to Masters and Mercenaries,were we meet the employees of the restaurant Topped owned by Sean Taggart.
This is Sommelier Sebastian Lowe's Love story,I would call this book a Grumpy Sunshine kind of story,because Sebastian is one grumpy man.
Maybe he has reason to be though..he lost his legs serving his country,lost a friend,lost his family and lost the woman he loved.
He picked himself up though and found himself working at Topped as their wine expert and he was damn good at it.
Tiffany Hayes was a waitress at Topped and she has had her eyes on Sebastian since they met,but she couldn't seem to get him to notice her...Then Fate steps in.
Sanctum is a BDSM club that the Taggart brothers own and they need Sebastian to train someone who wants to be a member of the club,but he needs a Sub who will help train the guys's submissives.
The Taggarts have chosen Yep thats right none other than Tiffany.
But Sebastian and Tiffany need to look as though they have been partners for a long time,and in order to be convincing they have to live together.
Tiffany is ecstatic with this news as it will give her the opportunity to get her man at last...But Sebastian is moody, grumpy and difficult,he just wants it ro be strictly professional and there will be NO sex between them.
The thing is what really got to me and made me soften towards Sebastian is that something had happened in his past..A woman broke his heart and she had reacted in an awful way to his appearance and the fact he had lost his legs.That event has haunted him and ultimately he had lost his confidence in being intimate and showing his body.He is afraid of rejection and having any woman look at him in pity..So stubbornly he will not allow Tiffany to see him without his prosthetic legs he was adamant that she will never see him with his wheelchair...So he neglects himself and stops taking care of his stumps not giving himself a break from wearing prosthetics.I felt bad for him and frustrated with him for being reckless with his health...and he pays the price for it.
Tiffany is perfect for him because she sees past that he has no legs and loves the man he is,even though he is a meanie at times.
Tiffany is younger than Sebastian and she was reckless,bright and fun a bit scatty too, she is also stubborn and never backs down,even when Sebastian keeps pushing her away.
But Tiffany also has a past in fact that past comes back and tries to kill her..!!
So will Sebastian be able to swallow his pride and save the woman he is falling for from her past,or will he continue to wallow in his past.
I have to credit Lexi Blake because I think she must have had to do alot of research for this story especially about wine and food pairings..etc.
Narration is BRILLIANTLY performed by Sebastian York who captivated me with his voice and I loved listening to him tell this story.He is excellent at acting out both Male and Female characters and I enjoyed it.
There is something really addictive about these stories and I have found myself excited to read them.
Loved it.
A Marvellous story.
