Detective Superintendent Roy Grace thinks he’s found a serial killer, but not everything is as it seems in Not Dead Enough, by award-winning crime author Peter James, read by Daniel Weyman.

A beautiful socialite is dead. Roy Grace’s leading suspect, her husband, was sixty miles away when she died, but all other evidence points to him. Has someone stolen his identity or is he simply a very clever liar?

Grace’s investigation, and his budding new relationship, are derailed after a reported sighting of his wife, Sandy, who has been missing for nine years. Grace desperately tries to cast light on the truth in both cases as his emotional turmoil – and the body count – grows . . .

Although the Roy Grace novels can be read in any order, Not Dead Enough is the third thrilling title in the bestselling series. Enjoy more of the Brighton detective’s investigations in Dead Man’s Footsteps and Dead Tomorrow.

Now a major ITV series, Grace, starring John Simm.

What is going on? Trust me, you will want to find out
There are some singularly nasty moments in Not Dead Enough, built into a plot that is devilishly complex and cunning. Once begun, it is impossible to put down. As taut a thriller to have come my way in a very long time (Peter Burton)
Constantly engrossing, and the author soon ramps up the tale and the suspense to a thoroughly satisfying conclusion

Loved how the intense grew right to the end. The references to Brighton & Hove.

This, like the first two of the series, is gripping right to the end…. And again, like the first two, the narration is faultless. Can’t wait for the next one!!

The third in this series - and it just keeps getting better!!

A real page turner with an unexpected plot and lots of action. Roy Grace and his team face a race against time as more women are killed. The perpetrator never far away and always watching is a dark and menacing presence throughout the book.
This is the third Grace book I’ve read back to back in seven days and I can’t wait to pick up the fourth. Definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a clever and sharp crime thriller series.
Narrator is as strong as ever and his voices and characterisations are superb.

I loved the way that, you thought you had worked out the riddle, and then got sent off in a different direction. I really enjoy Daniel Wainmans narration. He is excellent.
